Campus Ministry The College Ministry’s purpose is to serve university students and work to meet their spiritual and emotional needs during their college years. We want to not only minister to the students but minister WITH the students. Todd Gentry works full-time as the Campus Minister and director. He is assisted by his wife Debbie. Carol Spears serves as their Ministry Assistant along with Laura Burks and student interns that complete the staff. Not only is the staff proactive in trying to encourage the students in their relationship to Christ, but they work to provide areas of service where college students can grow from the experience of serving others. We have several programs that our student Interns help run. Programs We try to provide spiritual nourishment through Bible studies and service projects. We encourage you to make us your spiritual family while you are in Searcy. | Missions The Missions Ministry seeks to promote the involvement of the College Church and its individual members in the spread of the gospel throughout the world; to select part-time and full-time missionaries to evangelize, to plant churches, to nurture Christians and to train leaders with the goal of realizing mature, indigenous, self supporting and self directing churches; to guide and oversee the work of missionaries whose ministry the elders choose to sponsor; to encourage and strengthen the families and work of supported missionaries and to enlist the congregation in prayer and spiritual support for them. Most of our support goes to Africa and Europe. |
